Urine Path: EARTH Calcination

This was after multiple propane kiln calcinations each one going hotter. Final one was 1700F-2500F for 3 hours. This is from fermented urine dry path prime Earth after distilling off the water at 60C and then pulling the white oil, red oil, 5th and calcining it initially inside the alembic at 400C for 3 days.

The calcination in the pictures was done in a double luted fully sealed with refractory mortar inside a porcelain crucible. It smells like Sulfur, you can see the yellow inside it. Burns (torch on 18/10 SS spoon) mostly white very little but some impurities. the red on the puck i believe is the refractory mortar clay residue that got on it

I think i"m going to calcine in once more, this time open (no lid). maybe 1200-1500 for 3-6 hours It will make it, pure white and take away the sulphur. i know this because i tried it on a 1.5 sample of it.

Do you think that is beneficial or leave it as is?

What Role does Sulphur play in the creation of the Stone?

I plan to pour 10x its weight of 15x distilled mercury (urine water, clear stuff) on it and distill at 40C. Form pure white stone body pick it out then imbibe white oil into that in a properly sized vessel.

Anyone here done this before?

any feedback is appreciated.

I take it you're using the rotations framework? From my understanding, you have to make the two mercuries from the fires and waters first, then you combine them to make the earth. I'm still muddling my way through the process, but I take it the above is basically the terra damnata/faeces left over after distillation that you've been calcining?

Sulfur is the carrier of the fire principle. Sulfur is not elemental sulfur, nor a sulfide mineral or salt, although it can be, if those things are purposely imbued with this fire, and to varying degrees many things contains this fire. That true sulfur which does not burn in the fire is because it is of the nature of fire, yet its carriers can burn, although some carriers are more resistant than others. The sulfur principle was named sulfur because it shared some similarities with the outer appearance and actions of elemental sulfur, and that's about it.

I think what you are doing now, to agree with @ArgentSeeker, is continually just calcining / playing with the salt. The sulfur has been burned off long long ago. You can analytically decompose this mass you are working with to get various minerals out, you can separate a useful salt out of the mass, that once transformed, can capture a certain type of moisture, in which that moisture can capture the fire again, but its also easier to just work with that fire from other sources in which it is found in much higher quantities, or not burn the sulfur to begin with.

These longer hotter calcinations are, in my opinion, entirely unnecessary. A preliminary lower temperature calcination to break the prison is enough, next it is calcined with water, or a certain type of "water". Just as calcination transforms through the actions of physical heat, water transforms though the actions of something it carries insides of it, hence a certain type of "water".

Even this hotter calcination can be entirely omitted though, and low temperature processes, well below 100C, can prepare the matter just fine to allow the water calcination. The whole process can be gentle.

It doesn't matter if one works with urine or something else, the principles are the same. These materials are all just outer carriers that have a better or worse ability to carry those fundamental principles alchemy works with. Personally I find the urine path interesting, mainly because of the ammonia and ammonia salts that are so easy to get and work with, but these are carriers just the same, and many (nearly all?) materials and matters have their carriers as well.

You will catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, and both catch flies because vinegar can be derived from honey. Yet the types of flies you catch will differ, even though these two compounds share one root, that is, both contain a type of a fire.
