Hi Thomas

You originally stated that you were following the processes from :

Rosicrucian Aphorisms and Process - Bacstrom
Gloria Mundi
An Open Entrance to the Closed Palace of the King

but you're also telling us that you're having to perform "prayer", "meditation", "affirmation", empowerment of jars with "qi" and using magick sigils.

Could you highlight where the texts you are following call for these sigils and qi empowerment, I'm not sure I've seen such references?
If not, why have you decided these other things are required?

Thanks

Greetings Pilgrim :) ,

Well, I suppose I'm adding my own flair and background to the great work. Nothing beyond the instructions in the aforementioned texts is necessary.

I did a lot of internal alchemy before doing any external work. From what I've gathered, all the things I do will perhaps have a positive impact on the jars. Or maybe not :) , I suppose time will tell.

Cheers!

Hello Black :) ,

How are you my friend? I hope all is well. I am very curious about your experience with the stone, because I believe you've likely made one, or have the knowledge to do so :). In which case, I am excited to share my results with you.

I think you're right by the way. There was another gentleman I've spoken to from Singapore that had created the stone using very similar methods to what I'm doing. Unfortunately, he wasn't very open, but mentioned in passing that it had taken him 3 years. I think he was exaggerating quite a bit, from what I now know.

Either way, I tend to lean on the conservative side when it comes to creating the stone - leaving plenty of room for operator error. I'm assuming, with general mishaps, trials and tribulations, it would take the average person that starts from absolutely 0 not less than a year (maybe), and perhaps longer to create the red stone.

Of course, I may be completely wrong, and gosh, I'd be so happy if it finished faster. I think that with professional, lab grade supplies, one can definitely do it in a few months - if they were proficient and experienced. What do you think the lower limit is?

Thank you again for your kind words :) , I've been reading your posts quite a bit and have learned numerous things.

Cheers!

TL
Dear Friend :),

Thank you for your kind wishes, and I am pleased by your enthusiasm! I'd be happy to answer all of your questions.

1. These are the ones I strongly, strongly recommend, depending on your inclinations:

An Open Entrance to the Closed Palace of the King
Rosicrucian Aphorisms and Process -Bacstrom
Gloria Mundi sonsten Paradeiss Taffel <----< The most important book, and really works

2. By my estimate, and according to the guidance from my mentor(s), probably around 1-3 years. My direct teacher was able to make the first iteration of the red stone in a year. She's in the process of further refining it. My other teacher claimed that it could be made in as little as 13 weeks, if one had the right knowledge and required tools. I think this is....highly optimistic. Generally plan to take at least a good year and a half or longer, depending on if any screwups happen.

3. Dear friend, I'm just a novice, like anyone else. More importantly, I'm a human being :) , unworthy of having the title of master. The only true masters are the almighty divine and nature. They are already freely and lovingly available to you. Trust your intuition. I'm more than willing to answer any question, for free, because the knowledge of alchemy was given so graciously and freely to me. As for my teachers...well, they are kind of private individuals. If you're already beginning the great work (as in, you're cooking right now), I'd be happy to connect you with them.

God bless you and I wish you success in your journey :).
Hello Thomas,

I hope you're doing well and everything is going smoothly on your side. 😉

Thank you for your thoughtful message! I'll take some time to read through everything carefully and will keep you posted on my thoughts and progress. I'm looking forward to continuing the conversation and sharing more insights.

I'm currently reading The Book of Aquarius, which I find very well-written and a great initiation for beginners. I tried to take a look at An Open Entrance to the Closed Palace of the King, but the metaphors seem a bit hard to grasp initially, so I prefer to finish The Book of Aquarius and maybe read it 2 to 3 more times to carefully understand the steps and processes. Then, I'll dive into everything you shared.

Do you have an exact order in mind that I should follow, where one book could help me understand the other?

Other than that, I see that even The Book of Aquarius advises using urine, as it has already undergone an initial purification through our body. That being said, do you have any documented evidence that has Pictures that show the processes are fulfilled, similar to how Seth-Ra proved that the steps manifest very well when using divine cinnabar? I was just wondering if you have other threads showing similar advancements that are well documented but using Urin (check the post here: https://alchemyforums.com/index.php...-creation-of-the-stone.5514/page-4#post-86495).

Lastly, I wish you the best of luck and just know that we're passionately awaiting your updates. 😁

Best Regards,

Hello, good sir :),

How is your week going? I hope you learned much from BoA, and others. While you're at it, download this as well:

In my opinion, this is a *mandatory* read for anyone that wants to understand why the BoA's method isn't correct, even though the theory is sound.

It's extremely good, and basically spells out how to do it right, while being tailored for the modern, scientific audience. :)

Next on the list would be Gloria Mundi, then Open Entrance, then Bacstrom (in my opinion). Keep in mind, Bacstrom was working with blood.

My personal technique is mixing Gloria Mundi with Bacstrom (in a way).

It's pretty simple: keep urine at body temperature until it turns red and the matter falls down. Distill the waters, recombine 7-9 times, keeping everything at body temp.

The first distillation should already yield some results. It may take a very, very long time depending on your equipment.

That's it :).

That was a very insightful thread, thank you. I have loads of pictures, my friend. Unfortunately, most of them are private. It's enough that I'm convinced in the reality of the stone, through the process outlined in Gloria Mundi.

Hope that helps, man. Best of luck to you as well :).

🤯A SINGLE week's Mercury harvest! Lads, at this rate we'll be done by Christmas!!!

But seriously: in my haste and my greed, I seriously fuarked up my experiment. I was using masking tape to seperate the compartments in my ghettoass multi-compartment vessel.

Checked back later in the week and it turns out, there was a leak in one side, mixing the vapors of both jars together. In fact, as I investigated, it turned out that one jar was heavily feeding its mercury into the other jar - which resulted one of them hardly distilling anything at all for an entire 5 days.

I think I'm boned😭😭😭. The idea was genius, but the execution was braindead.

I spent the last few days doing my best to start another hermetically sealed vessel, did everything to make it as tight and perfect as possible, and gently transferred the jars into the new vessels, while collecting our mercury.

I was trying my best to hold my breath, but JESUS the smell hit me like a mac truck and left me speechless. Hoooooorrryyyy shiiitttoooo. On my mama the mercury alone could probably kill a whale. I can't believe how sharp and intense it smelled. Don't be deceived by appearances...this is NOT water lol.

Okay, I've never read in the literature what happens when two jars mix volatiles together...and I definitely know that you shouldn't open them once they're at this stage :/. I'll still keep going, but just for the record, I've f!cked up so many times in this run that if a stone ends up popping out, it's ONLY through the divine grace and will of the almighty God. LOL!

I suspect that if you'd put up a picture of your apparatus, others here might have commented on it and said something about the masking tape and advised you how to hermetically seal things. Might still be worth doing.

Looks nice.
You should put some pics of your distillation apparatus for anyone who wants to follow in your footsteps.

I myself really love those three books that you said are heavily influencing you.
Did you know that 2 of them mention spring water directly?
And if so, do you think that might possibly be significant?

Hello Pilgrim,

Hope all is going well with you. Yes, I intend to show my setup after it's complete - but for the record, it's just a modified series of buckets that I cleaned thoroughly were within my budget. It's nothing special, but it is quite a bit faster than using retorts or alembics.

Looks nice.

Thank you, Friend :),

For sure, I intend this thread to be a repository for future alchemists to use - with plenty of pictures of the full thing. I feel like there's no need for secrecy anymore. My distillery has many sigils and important symbols (to me), so I cannot post it while it's working :). However, after the work is done, I will.

Oh yes, definitely, my mentor was mentioning the use of spring water....I don't think I'm quite at that stage yet hehe. For the record, she didn't add it after distilling like the book suggests, but still managed to get the stone to form.

What I've realized is that there are sooooo many variables in this work, that even if you follow the books perfectly, there's absolutely no guarantee for success. The only thing one can follow is nature - and hope that one has enough insight to make it work.

Hi Thomas, congrats on your work.

Hi Black :),

How is everything going? Thank you for your kind words, friend!

Yes, it should have some interesting properties. My mentor dissolved some gold leaf into it and it turned into a white powder (among many other things). It's effectiveness seems to wane over time, though.

She also, insanely, swallowed some of it and it made her very ill...the first time. Subsequent ingestion didn't make her as ill.

I don't plan on mixing any of it with any metals for the moment, because I don't want to accidentally poison myself by inadvertently mislabeling anything.

Good day, sir :).

Hi GA

Do you really believe that such references are literal? Aren't most of not all alchemy related texts obfuscated with allegories and cryptic devices? If so why would you take it literally that this means water from a ground spring?

Let me just quote from Gloria Mundi which you cited there:

"Know, my son, that our Stone is such that it cannot adequately be described in writing. For it is a stone, and becomes water through evaporation; yet it is no stone, and it by a chemical process it receives. a watery form it is at first like any other liquid water, being a thin fluid; yet its nature is not like that of any other water upon earth. There is only one spring in all the world from which this water may be obtained. That spring is in Judaea, and is called, the Spring of the Saviour, or of beatitude. By the grace of God its situation was revealed to the Sages. It issues in a secret place, and its waters flow over all the world. It is familiar to all, yet none knows the principle, reason, or way to find the spring, or discover the way to Judaea. But whoever does not know the right spring will never attain to a knowledge of our Art. For this reason, that Sage might well exclaim, "O water of a harsh and bitter taste!" For, in truth, the spring is difficult to find; but he who knows it may reach it easily, without any expense, labour, or trouble. The water is, of its own nature, harsh and bitter, so that no one can partake of it; and, because it is of little use to the majority of markind the Sage doth also exclaim, "O water, that art lightly esteemed by the vulgar, who do not perceive thy great virtues, in thee lie, as it were, hid the four elements. Thou hast power to dissolve, and conserve, and join nature, such as is possessed by no other thing upon earth."

This passage is imo assuredly not talking about the kind of limestone spring waters that you are fond of working with. For one thing, there is no such limestone spring that feeds all the world. Neither is that spring water harsh and bitter. You can drink it. This text is talking allegorically. It doesn't literally mean Judaea imo. It doesn't literally mean spring water.

Yes and no.
IMO, they can be literal, but only if read in a certain way.
If read in the normal way (as you are doing in your post), then the real meaning will not be seen.
Aren't most of not all alchemy related texts obfuscated with allegories and cryptic devices?
IMO these kinds of texts are written for the author to communicate to others already "in the know" that he/she also KNOWS.
They are not writing to reveal the truth to the plebs, and in fact because of their vows of secrecy, it would be a crime if any pleb were able to ascertain any secret/s.
So....there has to be enough obfuscation, alllegory and cryptic devices to prevent the uninitiated from understanding, but just enough clarity for other sages to see that he/she indeed has the secret/s.
If so why would you take it literally that this means water from a ground spring?
When you get corroboration of the same information from multiple separate sources, it's a sign that you're onto something.
You of all people would already know this.
If the information is a total red herring, then you wouldn't expect the exact same piece of spurious information to appear in multiple, completely different, texts.

You might be right.
Maybe reading these texts is akin to looking at clouds, and we all see something different according to our individual psychology, beliefs and biasses.
For me though, when I read those 2...my thought was literally "fuck...these guys KNEW", and as I said...IMO that was their sole purpose for writing in the first pace.

It's pretty straight forward, man.

An "eagle" represents a single full distillation of the water from the dry matter.

He's saying by the 7th distillation, the mercury will be so rectified, that it'll be good enough to turn your matter into the red stone.

That's my interpretation, I don't believe I'm far off.

You really don't need that many distillations, from what I've seen - if your setup is correct. In fact, a single distillation is good enough if you're lucky.

On the other hand, I've seen someone doing 10+ distillations and they still don't have the stone, so they mucked up somewhere.

Today, I was doing the routine rounds on my bottles, and I noticed that one of them had cranked out so much gas, it damn near blew the lid off the whole distillery..... oh shit!

I went into emergency mode, collecting our mercury, degassing and sealing everything so, so tight, unless a nuke went off in the vicinity, I don't expect any more trouble.

The main problem was, like an idiot, I didn't use gloves, because I figured I'd be alright.

Got a couple of drops of the mercury on my finger.

Burnt2ACrisp.png

I dunno if you can see the discoloration, but I can definitely feel it. It burned like freaking acid, OUCH!! Well, that was so much fun, let's not ever do it again ^_^. It still stings like a mfer, hours later.

From what I've researched, the ph has to be 12, 13 or maybe even higher than that at this point. Oh my...this stuff is dangerous...

Something very interesting though, while I was sealing everything, I caught a momentary whiff of the big kahuna, a glance at the basilisk 😁.

Sure, it smelled quite powerful....but definitely NOT the same. I mean, it's definitely piss, but not really.

There's something there, and I really don't know how to describe it other than to say...it's like...sweet roses?? I dunno, it wasn't a bad smell at all, and was kind of nice - despite being heavily masked by piss.

Secondly, I also saw a large, whitish mass in the middle, like a crystal or something growing. Oh my God I'm so excited to bust the whole contraption wide open when it's done!!!!!!!

It's so hard to believe this stuff came out of my tip just a few months ago..LOL!

Hmmm, I wasn't aware.

Thanks for the warnings, for sure. No more treating this like a fun little hobby, it's definitely a potentially hazardous series of reactions.

Any time you have pressure buildup in a sealed vessel it can be very dangerous. Borosilicate glass will help but it doesn't solve this problem on its own. When it comes to distillation the controlling factor that we get to use is volatility which is controlled with heat..
You heat the boiling flask, retort, etc to say 80 degrees C, on your receiving flask you have some method of cooling to force the gases you expelled from your flask to cool to the point that by the time they reach the receiver they have already converted back into a liquid.

If you use a liebig condenser with cold water circulating in it, you can very effectively do this. Now with this set up or even a classic one like a retort it is a good idea to allow some method for the pressure to escape. There is a good thread here that shows a picture of a distillation setup with a drying tube attached which serves two functions.
https://alchemyforums.com/index.php?threads/adventures-in-alchemy-beginner.3595/#post-31545
1. Keeps atmospheric humidity out of the apparatus.
2. Allow pressure to escape the vessel as needed during distillation.

I used to do distillations with a retort having the side arm inside a wine bottle. I would wrap the side arm in beeswax but leave a little gap so the air could escape, alternatively if the liquid is not super volatile a sort of interference fit can work too (just pressing the side arm as neatly as possible into that bottle so that it friction fits.

In fact if your set up is fully sealed, the pressure will build and the distillation will either stop or slow down until the inevitable happens.
Boom or a series of leaks at the joints, stoppers flying out, etc.

Anyways glad you did not get seriously injured!

I thank you, dear Jimmy :) for your valuable insight.

I wasn't aware (or maybe forgot) that increasing pressure interrupts the distillation process.

Hmmm, now I'm kind of starting to get it, the gasses needs to be released slowly - but not so slowly that the good stuff inside leaks out. From my understanding, their circulation is a vital (mandatory) part of the creation of the stone.

On the other hand, if I keep trapping them where they are, against their will, my distillery will surely blow to smithereens, at the most inconvenient of times. I can't imagine many things much worse than taking a face full of our mercury, projecting at hazardous speeds.

I think I've got a good solution, where I'll modify one of the lids to *slowly* raise, in response to rising pressure, kind of like an air lock.

By the way, my temps never, ever go above 60 C, and are usually in the 30-40 range.

I'll keep you updated on how it goes :), and thank you for your kind words!

The colder your receiver the less your loss of volatiles. The drying tube is cool because it does take some pressure for gas to go through there but not nearly enough to blow the unit. It also prevents humidity to enter the unit from the outside air during the cool down (when a vaccum is created.) I also think once the pressure equalizes that you could theoretically seal the distillation apparatus.

As far as "circulating" or "coction" goes I would go with blacks recommendation of a heavy walled borosilicate vessel and only fill it to 1/4 max to allow for expansion then seal. The higher the temperature the higher the pressure..
https://www.dutscher.com/article/090970?language=en
Something like that.
I use them and they have been great and I know from experience that other flasks will shoot the stoppers out even with Keck clips.

Goodluck, its all good learning!

The mercury I'm pulling off these days smells very floral and lovely ^_^. I'm going to save some of it in a small, seperate container as a perfume...LOL!

Overall the operation is going well, brethren :) . I feel happy and encouraged. I had a very interesting experience:

I've been pouring some of the mercury on a dying tree to see if it will recover.....Well, my sweet mother, who has been going through hell with her condition, went to the the tree for grounding and happened to step where I had been pouring it. She said she felt a deep sense of relief and recovery....!!

Before that she was extremely skeptical about my piss buckets (what she calls them...LOL!!), but now she can't wait for me to finish up. She even wanted to see if it's possible to soak her feet in it right now, since it's just about the only thing that has given her peace in such a long time.

I told her I was cooking that puppy at full speed, and really I can't do anything else at this point. I'm going as quick as I can, but we're still about 1 - 2 weeks away. It's really not a good idea to ingest random parts of the stone - especially since the last bits are still entering it.

Maybe it was just a placebo, but....maybe not. How crazy is it that even without directly ingesting the stone, simply being in its presence is enough to have an ameliorating effect on some conditions....!?!
:)

I haven't told her I'm making the stone, but anyway, that was a good experience :).

Sounds awesome! Did you check the freezing point and boiling/sublimation point of this liquid? Depending on the subject matter(s) we are working with, we can obtain "Mercuries" that will literally boil/sublime at close to 0°C, so special cooling conditions would be highly recommended in such cases.

I wouldn't rule it out that European Alchemists from centuries ago may have taken advantage of the cold (Sub-Zero) European nights to contain their hyper-volatile distillates... Because if the sun comes up and it gets above 0°C, then bye-bye Mr. Mercury :)

Alternatively, we could also use a specially prepared salt in the receiver, that can fix and contain the hyper-volatile distillate at room temperature.

I've been pouring some of the mercury on a dying tree to see if it will recover.
Did the tree recover?

I'm going to save some of it in a small, seperate container as a perfume.
Have you watched the movie Perfume?

Hiya Andro :),

How are you doing? Hope all is well, a pleasure seeing you in the thread.

Hmmm, in retrospect man, I missed a lot of things, screwed up significantly at times, and didn't do the operation as rigorously as I'd have liked. I especially think that I leaked quite a lot of volatiles in the beginning...which may significantly reduce my yield.

Now that you've mentioned it, I'd really like to check the properties of both the sulfur and the mercury, because it has to be a literal gold mine (pun intended) of exclusive information.

When I get some tools, I'll definitely run some tests :), thank you sir!

Oh yeah, having the benefit of a flexible natural environment must have been extremely helpful :), here where I am, it's basically almost always hot. Hmmmm, honestly one day I'll save up for a proper lab and do the great work over again - as carefully as I can.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of salts can I use to trap the volatiles? I'd be very interested in learning more.

I have this idea to create the most Insane Mercury known to man:
----------
Take about 4 mason jars and ferment as usual.

When they are ready, stick them all in the same distillery, meaning evaporate them simultaneously in the same container and collect the first 100-300 mls of mercury.

Get rid of 3 jars, keep the last one. Distill off the rest of the water.

Now, in theory, you should have a good amount of the super, duper potent mercury - since it has the strength of 4 jars. Then you rectify it 7-10 times in the remaining jar.

I bet that shiet would melt through concrete like the Alien vs Predator movies....LOL!
-----------
If I can trap the volatiles in a salt matrix instead, even better!

By the way, I took a picture of the tree before, and now I'm waiting for at least 2-4 weeks to compare it to an after picture. It seems to be doing better, and the few healthy leaves it has seemed to be vibrant. Maybe my imagination is playing tricks on me...but I guess we'll see :).

Huh! Have never seen that film, but it seems right up my alley - thanks for the recommendation :)!

Cheers,

TL

Hi TL

The above doesn't make much sense to me so I suspect I'm not understanding it properly.

Using 4 jars is surely no different to using one large jar that is big enough to hold the same amount of liquid as the 4 jars.
Distilling 4 separate jars together is surely no different to distilling one jar, it's just you'll get 4 times the distillate. That just means 4 times the volume not 4 times stronger.

Hey buddy :),

Nah you're thinking of it correctly, but I think there are just a few key things to be aware of that you may find interesting:

1. Keep this very important fact in mind: out of the 5 jars I started with, 1 blew up, 2 ended up being duds that simply will not turn red, and the other 2 are the ones I'm working with. Statistically, that's a 40% success rate.....which isn't great. I'm not confident that simply harvesting more prime and fermenting it all in 1 jar will dramatically raise those odds, so it's better - in my opinion, to spread things out a bit.

2. Okay, instead of 4 jars distilling in the same environment, let's say you have 1 successful jar......but then how would you propose one would rectify the mercury? You can't (really) pour your highly concentrated mercury into the sulfur of 4 containers and progress well. It's not as simple as collecting more urine - it has to be refined in a specific ratio (from what I've learned).

3. The reason it's much stronger is that only the first 10%-40% of the distilled mercury is the strongest and worth rectifying. It contains most of the volatiles. So, my thinking was - if I collected enough super potent volatiles for 4 jars, but instead of rectifying it using 4 jars, I put it all in 1, wouldn't that be a potent combination? :) I really hope that makes sense.

Yeah still not really getting this. Concentrating purely on the distillation part. If you have 4 mason jars ready to be distilled and you put all 4 of them (or however many for that matter) into one distilling apparatus then you'll get the top 10%-40% from each of those 4 jars (although you're assuming there that all 4 jars will evaporate at the same rate which may or may not actually be true).

If instead you took the contents of those 4 jars and put them all into one larger receptacle and distilled that then you'd get the first 10%-40% of that 4 times larger volume of liquid. Is that really any different?

Your theory here seems to be that the smaller the quantity of starting material the more potent the first 10%-40% of distillate will be. I dont know if that is actually true, however if it is then surely you want loads of small vials all distilling at the same time.

There might be mileage in this in terms of speeding things up because clearly the evaporation isn't going to start unless and until the bulk of the liquid has reached the appropriate temperature. Obviously a large vessel with lots of your pre-fermented material in it will take longer to get to temperature than lots of smaller vessels and a larger vessel might be more difficult to maintain at a steady temperature.

As for rectifying, pouring the distillate back onto the starting matter, again you're really just talking about volume here.

The top 10%-40% of any distillate you draw off is surely going to be the same (assuming all the starting matter is the same). So if you have X quantity of that distillate then adding another X quantity of it just produces 2X volume of that distillate, it doesn't make it any stronger. Do you see? If you have 2 glasses of orange squash both made with the same amount of squash concentrate and water and you add both glasses together into one larger glass, then you've just got 2 glasses of orange squash in a larger vessel. It will taste exactly the same as the two individual glasses. It doesn't get more concentrated for being mixed with another quantity of orange squash. Perhaps I'm missing something.
