The Pleiades Mystery

Introduction

What is the “Pleiades Mystery” and why should it matter?

Pleiades is a star cluster in our night sky, visible with the naked eye, you may know it as the “Seven Sisters”.

Over the years during my research into many esoteric/ancient things I found out that this particular star cluster appears to have been revered, worshiped and/or been assigned great importance by many different civilisations past and present. I also learned elsewhere that a possible reason for this is that there is a special “sun-like” star in the vicinity of the Pleiades star cluster which some people deem(ed) important.

I suspect that there will be posters here who are already very clued up on this and thus might have a wry smile at my efforts. Fair enough. If what I post stirs the curiosity of others then I will have achieved something at least.

It transpires that there is symbology everywhere concerning this and there are landmarks all over the world laid out to mirror this and other constellations.

What is so special about this star? Why are there landmarks the world over which highlight this mystery?

This goes back as far as the Sumerians and Mesopotamians but is also, I suspect, at the very heart of Freemasonry which refers to it as the “Blazing Star” and perhaps more surprisingly appears to also be prevalent in some churches. What is perhaps more interesting is that we find the same symbology regarding Pleiades and this special star in many modern day areas including wide scale city landscaping, buildings and in movies.

One of the suggestions I have read concerning this mystery is that this sun-like star system is actually the true source of human heritage, that many 1000s of years ago the Earth had a visitation from beings from this star system who seeded human life on the planet. If true this would be one of the biggest cover ups in human history and would radically change the perceptions of the world and shake the very foundations of most mainstream religions were it to become public knowledge.

But I digress! The purpose of this thread is NOT to assert any specific meaning to all of the symbology and imagery. You must make your own minds up on that issue. Rather my purpose is to simply present the evidence, show you the symbology to be found everywhere, teach you how to look for it, and show you a multitude of images that highlight it all. Once done, you will begin to see the symbology everywhere you go and this perhaps might lead some of you to research further.

This will be a longish thread as I shall include many pictures and examples, but it is my hope that it will spark interest. I posted it all on another forum years ago but it has since been removed.

I’m going to first give you the tools to know what to look for in terms of symbology and provide some practical examples and then I shall put up various pictures and let you the reader have a go at analysing them and spotting the symbols in true Da’ Vinci Code “Robert Langdon” style! Examples will include satellite views of major cities, the interiors of churches and even scenes from well-loved movies.

Remember I am simply presenting the visual and written evidence that can be found by anyone who looks for it. Much of what I am presenting here has been covered by far more gifted people than myself on various internet sites.

So, without further ado, let’s look at the symbology

Part 1 – The Symbology & Basics

First, this is what you need to know.

The constellation of Orion is one of the most prominent in the Northern night sky. It largely consists of 4 stars at the corners of a (rough) rectangle and 3 very bright stars in a line in the middle which form Orion’s belt. If you visually follow a line from those 3 stars to the right then you come to the “V-shape” of 5 prominent stars which are the horns of the bull of the constellation of Taurus and if you continue beyond that you come to the 7 bright stars of the star cluster Pleiades or “the seven sisters” as it is also known. In the vicinity of that star cluster is the 1 special sun-like star which some groups seem to revere.





This is like a mini-treasure map. Orion points the way via his belt, takes us to Taurus and beyond that to Pleiades and numerically you can quickly see the significance of the number sequence 3,5,7,1. 3 stars of Orion’s belt, 5 stars of Taurus’s horns, 7 stars of Pleiades and 1 special “blazing star” in the vicinity of that star cluster.

So the “key” to our treasure map is the belt of Orion the Hunter. It is the “Arrow” that points the way to the star cluster.







Turns out this “treasure map” can be found depicted everywhere. The number 357 is found in Freemasonry :

and in masonic imagery.

The cross symbol that makes up Orion and the “arrow” created by its belt, form the well-known symbol that has the name “Chi-Rho”. It is seen throughout Catholic churches and in many other places but few would ever have associated it with the Pleiades secret.



In symbology, Orion can be depicted in many ways, and there have been many versions throughout history. Often 2 triangles one inverted much like an hour glass, but also as various styles of crosses. Orion’s belt can be depicted in many ways, mostly as a line of 3 dots, a line of 3 stars and so on. Pleiades can be depicted by just about any collection of 7 dots, 7 stars or 7 “things” provided there exists a context for it. i.e. 7 dots on their own may or may not be a Pleiades representation, but 7 dots TOGETHER with a symbol for Orion or Orion’s belt or the Blazing Star very obviously IS a representation of Pleiades.

Here then are some examples of all these symbols so that you can get a feel for them and in future you will know what to look for:

Part 2 – Ancient Examples

Let’s now look at examples where all this symbology presents itself. We will start in the past but I will soon show you how this sun worshiping is alive and kicking today.

Here are some early Sumerian tablets. Can you spot the symbols?



In the centre we have 7 dots representing Pleiades. Do we have a context for it in the form of Orion or the Blazing Star? Yes, at the bottom left we can see the cross depiction of Orion inside the circle.

Next one . . .



Well, very clearly 7 dots for Pleiades in the lower centre half but the jury is out on the Orion/Star context this time. What do you think? Possibly the pairs of triangles at top left and right could be Orion, each pair having one upright and one inverted triangle. Look too at the character bottom right. He appears to be holding a bow and arrow so could this be Orion the Hunter?

Next



Again 7 dots for Pleiades and a single Blazing Star to the left of it.

Note that if we are looking at some of this stuff through the lens of alchemy then we might see here representations of Sol and Luna as well as Pleiades.

The next image is of a hematite seal known as The Orpheos Bakkikos crucifixion which is thought by some to date from the early Christian era and to reflect ancient Greek themes.



Again we see the same 7 stars.

Next are 2 variations of Masonic “Tracing Boards”. A Tracing Board is an image/picture filled with meaningful symbology that is explained to, and used to teach masons (in this case, 1st degree Apprentices).



In each case you can clearly see the 7 stars of Pleiades depicted at the top right and then there are 3 other celestial bodies. Again, from an alchemical perspective we have the Sun(sol) and the Moon(luna) and then there is the special “blazing star” shown with stairs or steps leading up to it. Clearly alchemy figures in Freemasonry but perhaps we should understand the significance of Pleiades and the blazing star. Does Pleiades somehow represent salt or “our Mercury”? Does the blazing star represent the secret fire of the alchemists/philosophers or the Stone itself that everyone is climbing to attain?

Our final example of ancient depictions is a scene from the famous ancient cave paintings at Lascaux in France. These paintings are very old. Some people assert that they represent early star maps. (Feel free to Google.) Have a look for yourself and tell me . . . . What do YOU see?




Note how any casual observer would probably not pay too much attention, despite being in awe of such lovely work. To them it most likely just looks like a picture of some bulls, plain and simple.

You on the other hand, having now a grounding in Pleiadean symbology, I hope, saw instantly what I saw . . .

A belt of Orion pointing to Taurus the bull and beyond it Pleiades. Interestingly the belt has 4 stars and Pleiades has only 6 stars but possibly this is how the ancients saw Pleiades back then. When you look up at the night sky the next time see what you think. It’s hard to see 7 stars imo but it’s known as the seven sisters.




Note also the cross shape very reminiscent of Orion just above the belt.





There is nothing necessarily special about this occurrence, most likely the paintings ARE simply representations of a star map, the constellations that the painters could see themselves in the night sky back then. I included it only to see if you recognised the symbols at first glance now that you know what to look for.

Ok, so far we’ve seem Sumerian, Mesopotamian, Babylonian and Masonic examples of the Pleiades Connection. If you’ve stuck with all this thus far, well done. Now it gets more interesting!

It’s time to go to Earth, current date and time. We will stay in France and take a visit to “gay Paris!”

Part 3 - Paris Landscape
It is no secret to most that the ruling elite have often built large structures or laid out entire towns or cities which encompass symbology in their layouts. Washington DC very famously has roads laid out in the form of an inverted 5 pointed star and other masonic symbols.

How about good old Paris? Did you ever think that the Pleiades Connection/Mystery could be involved there on a massive scale? Let’s take a look.

At the end of Dan Brown’s best-selling “Da’ Vinci Code” novel, Robert Langdon finds himself at the glass pyramid of the Louvre in Paris, the source (in the book) of the Holy Grail lineage and resting place of Mary. Here is an aerial view of that area, I have marked where the glass pyramid is. What do you see?



Not much to see there. Let’s zoom out just a little




Well well. Hello! Is that our old friend the belt of Orion we see there in the park to the left? Three distinct circles in a line. Or is it just a coincidence? It could perhaps be anything, but how can we tell? Remember, we look for some context in the form of Pleiades or the special “Blazing” star. We know from our 3571 sequence that Orion’s Belt is the start of the “treasure map”, the arrow that points the way in the night sky to Pleiades. So I guess we better follow this grand scale “arrow” and see if it does in fact lead anywhere . . .

Time to zoom out then. . . . .




Ok well, we can now clearly see that the belt leads us to what appears to be a roundabout? Is that significant?

I guess we need to zoom in to take a look. Hold tight, here we go . . . .




Aha! There it is ! A roundabout yes, but one with 7 round dots (6 obvious and one more in the centre). There is our Pleiades! Or is it still just co-incidence? Is there more?

Let us zoom back out further and continue the line from Orion’s belt.



Hmmm it seems to take us to another roundabout? What’s more all roads seem to lead to it and it looks like a blazing star. Let’s zoom in on it. . . .



Yep, that sure looks like a Blazing Star in all its glory with rays emanating off in all directions.

Perhaps the more sceptical amongst you are still thinking this is just circumstantial. Well let me dispel any such doubts by telling you that what you are actually looking at there, in the middle of that roundabout is the Arc De Triomphe. In French it is known as the “Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile” which translates as the “Triumphal Arch of the Star” !

So here’s the entire aerial view:




We are no longer in the ancient times of the Sumerians and Mesopotamians so how is it that modern day Paris has been mapped out to copy this same mysterious star treasure map? Why go to all that length, cost and effort if there is nothing behind all of this? Clearly there are forces at work who, for whatever reason, revere that sun-like star in the vicinity of Pleiades.

Part 4 – Rome – The Vatican Key
Some of you might already be aware of this one. Like Paris, Rome too has crafted it’s landscaping to set out a similar story, hidden in plain sight. Here is an aerial view of the Vatican Basilica:



The Basilica dome can be seen on the left but your trained eyes should have immediately zoomed in on the very obvious depiction of Orion that dominates the Plaza. This is our old friend, the Chi-Rho representation of Orion which we saw earlier, remember?



So . . . where does the Chi-Rho point us to?

Let’s zoom out and see





Ok well there is a star of sorts. What we are looking at is the Castle Sant Angelo, another venue in the Dan Brown books. The “Star” shape here is 5-pointed but unmistakable.

What is far more interesting however is that the entire setup appears to look like a key. Is this then a clue to the great key of human life? What great secrets are being hidden from the great unwashed population?





Time now to cross the pond and head to America.

Part 5 – The Basilica Of The Immaculate Conception – Washington DC
Feel free to Google this place. It is chock full of Pleiades symbology. By now you should be eagled eyed and well able to spot the symbols hidden in plain sight. So I will just show you the pictures and then let’s see what you can spot. Each room in this place has a name. Here we go:

“Our Lady of Lavang”



My Answer: I see Pleiades on the ceiling. Orion belts (3 dots in a line) either side of the altar pointing up to Pleiades. A Blazing star on the floor. Can’t be coincidence. This is the Pleiades mystery.

Next

“Our Lady Of Ephesus”



My Answer: I see a symbol for Orion at the bottom between the 2 pillars, also much like the masonic square and compass symbol. Just above the 2 pillars I see 3 diamonds depicting Orion’s belt. I am unclear on the crown and symbol beneath it (tho the crown has 7 points to it!). The 2 columns at the bottom are more usually seen in Freemasonry (J & B).


Immaculate Heart Chapel



My Answer: Well I see a big Blazing Star on the back wall with rays emanating from it and a collection of stars on the ceiling. Did you notice that some of those stars are bigger than others? How many? Here’s a closer view:



The larger stars each have 8 points. There are exactly 7 of them. There is our Pleiades! The 3 electric lights are also a little strange. There are 2 large lights and one smaller one. Why would that be? Any normal person would install 3 of the same size wouldn’t they? My interpretation of this is that it is the “triangle” of the 3 celestial bodies again that we saw in the masonic tracing boards. The small light is (imo) to be ignored. It is the Blazing Star that makes the real 3rd one.

My Answer: I see a blazing star on her shoulder but did you also notice the halo around the child? It has alternating motifs of Orion’s belt (3 diamonds) and clusters of 7 (6 dots and a diamond), surely Pleiades.

My Answer: Not so easily spotted this one but look closely and you can see 7 dots or somethings at the foot of the crucifix on the wall. A close up is in order:




So yes, 7 stars much like those we saw earlier with the Orpheos Bakkikos.

Part 6 – The Bible

Some of you may possibly still be sceptical about the Church’s involvement in what appears to sun-worship or at the least a mystery involving Orion and Pleiades.

The number 7 is well known in some religions. Many of you will be familiar with the Jewish 7 candlesticks. At Christmas we often see people display electric versions of these in house windows. What is the true meaning of the 7 candlesticks?

We need to look to the Bible to see what it says about all of this. It transpires there are 3 references to our Pleiades Mystery. Here they are:

Amos 5

”8. Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:”

This verse screams alchemy and the Stone to me personally. Turning death into morning. Waters pouring over the earth etc. What then is the connection of Orion/Pleiades to alchemy? What do they represent?


Job 38

”30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?”

Anyone here understand this? Is the sweet Pleiades the SM or sulphur perhaps?

I guess the “bands of Orion” (our 3 stars in the belt) represent the 3 key principles (Salt, Mercury and Sulphur) yes?


Revelation 1

”16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death.
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.”

This last quote from Revelation tells us that the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches. These refer to the seven churches of Asia. Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia & Laodicea

What’s going on here? All over the globe we have landscapes and buildings mimicking Orion’s belt and Pleiades and the same symbology is everywhere and has been evident for 1000s of years from Sumerian and Babylonian era to current day.

If by now you are not convinced that there really is a Pleiades Mystery which clearly both Freemasonry and the Church are harbouring, then I guess you are unlikely to ever be convinced.

For the final section in my presentation I shall take a look at references to the Pleiades Mystery that have appeared in films/movies.

Part 7 – Symbology in Movies
Whilst you are now versed in Pleiades Mystery symbols, you will likely have already walked by many examples of them in real life. Quite often the clues pop up in movies but unless we know what to look for we will simply miss them. Here are some examples:

Men in Black 2

In the final scenes of this film our 2 MIB agents shoot the baddie and then an interesting firework display happens around the Statue of Liberty (a Masonic entity in itself). This is the sequence that viewers see.

First we see this, the familiar depiction of rays emanating from a central point. The Blazing Star.




Then it becomes this, a clear depiction of Orion



Then 7 round target shapes materialise (Pleiades)




So altogether we have a depiction of the Blazing Star, then Orion and then Pleiades.


2001 A Space Odyssey

One of the most important and beautiful sci-fi movies ever made by the brilliant Stanley Kubrik of course. Those who have seen it will remember that the main character, David Bowman, ends up flying through a stargate. The imagery for that stargate journey goes on for a few minutes in the film and is much like the swirling tunnel of the Doctor Who opening credits but half way along this sequence, 7 bright diamonds appear as below:



There is no immediate context given for this representation of Pleiades but those who know the film and story will remember that the stargate takes Bowman to a vast place in another galaxy where planets are being formed and constructed and where Bowman will be re-born as the Star Child. It’s a possible suggestion imo that Pleiades is the place where human origins were seeded from.


Judge Dredd

Another Sci-Fi film, originally starring Sylvester Stallone.

Here’s the original promo poster for the movie, note the 3 star Orion belt on the helmet. Then note the 7 stars on the logo of the Justice Dept.






Star Wars



Note the Star Destroyer engines. 3 large circles for the belt of Orion. 7 circles in total for Pleiades.



Lord Of The Rings

One of the greatest books of all time made into 3 great movies. In the story the Fellowship travel to the mines of Moria but to gain access to it they are confronted by the hidden door which requires a password to open. Here is a picture of that door:



Note the 7 stars at the top for Pleiades and the single “Blazing” star at the bottom. The picture on the right is the Masonic Tracing Board for the “Royal Arch” degree. Hard to ignore the similarities isn’t it? Of course some would say that the 7 stars represent the 7 rings given to the Dwarf Lords in the book. Sure, but the hidden meaning is surely the Pleiades connection. Note again we have Sol and Luna in that tracing board.

The Pleiades Mystery is somehow linked to alchemy imo. This info may perhaps help some here I don’t know. I can only hope so.

My Freemason grandfather/ grandmother loved the new Subaru I bought a few years back (then I switched to a RAM) and they now rock one too, I think maybe just for the logo 🧐 They must’ve known something because there was a comment made about the logo back then. Is there a reason you haven mentioned the Pleiadians?

The Human-Like race of people that live in the Pleiades? There are a large number of mediums channeling intelligences from the Pleiades. I don't give much weight to such things but it's usually an entertaining day to say the least and often just gives avenues for Inspiration into more rational pursuits.

That last image looks like a map; the pleiades look like "cities" in this area of the sky; you can also see that little rings have been placed around some of the stars in the middle areas perhaps "towns" or small systems per say. As above so below.

Another example

The infamous Cydonia region of Mars where some say there are remains of pyramids plus of course the rock formation that seems to look like a human face. If the cluster of formations shown represent Pleiades then does the face represent the position of the special blazing star?
