I have always collected gemstones and don’t know why I’ve never bothered to talk about them. I’ve even been a gemstone dealer at one point.

Anyway, the other day I got my first raw lapis lazuli. I’ve always wanted one. I prefer these stones in their raw form rather than polished.

My stone has got traces of pyrite in it, which adds some flair IMO.

Raw lapis lazuli with pyrite traces boosts spiritual intuition, truthful expression, and inner wisdom while grounding it with confidence, willpower, manifestation power, and protection—creating balanced celestial insight turned into practical, abundant success.

Lapis lazuli stands out as the ultimate celestial/divine stone of ancient prestige—symbolizing royalty, cosmic truth, enlightenment, and direct communion with higher realms/gods—bridging third-eye vision and throat-chakra truthful expression like no other, far beyond everyday healing, grounding, love, or abundance stones.

I’ve always liked lapis lazuli.

Do you meditate with them?

Some of my favorite semi-precious stones are:

Shiva Lingam
Carnelian
Any color of Jade
Aquamarine

Big fan of meteorites as well.

Not technically... I keep them close by. There are some changes I wanted to do personally and as soon as I got the lapis I felt more willing to committ to these changes... if that is placebo or what I don't know... and frankly irrelevant.

I have a huge collection, I'll be posting some eventually but my favourite is just a simple fist size flintstone I found on a beach when I was 7 that I've managed to keep my entire life... it should join me in my grave. LOL

Shiva Lingam
Carnelian
Any color of Jade
Aquamarine

Big fan of meteorites as well.

I have none of these... shows the abundance out there and how individual it is...

Fuchsite.

Got this in Italy last year. Egg for size. About 20 bucks so not as expensive as Lapis Lazuli (about 150 bucks for the same size).

Fuchsite, known as the "Healer’s Stone," is a sparkling green chromium mica that opens the heart chakra, promotes love, compassion, emotional healing, self-love, joy, and rejuvenation while connecting you to nature spirits, fairies, angelic guidance, intuition, hope, and manifestation.

Some more from my collection.

These are brown amethyst and both somewhat large. This is a natural variation of amethyst quartz turned brown by additional iron oxides, heat, or mineral inclusions during formation.

Spiritually, it merges amethyst’s high-vibration clarity, intuition, and spiritual protection with deep grounding root-chakra energy, acting like a gentle anchor that helps you stay centered and embodied while exploring higher awareness, making it especially supportive for emotional healing, stress relief, shadow work, and bringing spiritual insights into practical, everyday life.

Amethyst in general is a common gemstone in any collection, but common shouldn’t imply weakness.

Both these are expensive, mainly due to their size (the left one about as big as a basketball and the other as big as two hands probably). They cost about 500 bucks for both, but this gemstone shop went out of business and they sold everything they had with a huge discount, thus I probably paid a 100 for both. Such a deal I cannot ignore. 😎

Nice. I love quartz. The only places I find crystal points and clusters end up being my best gold prospecting spots.
Most are just clear, but some are orange-ish. Unfortunately it's more of a rust coating, so nowhere near as gorgeous as your specimens...

I know you hate Murica, but if you ever find yourself in the temperate rainforest part of Appalachia, I'll take you to the exact spot I pulled those clusters.
About to move a short distance to a better area for rockhounding. Same area this YouTuber is in. Need to find his secret quartz creek...

This area is also not far...

Ore dowsing is a pretty deep rabbit hole. But like alchemy, I think there's a ton of mediocre books to sift through to find the good ones. So I've been holding off on it. But there's been a few times I went prospecting in a new large area, and the very first section of creek I try ends up being the only good spot. Even when the whole area is littered with small veins and vuggy bull quartz. Like the better quartz veins cause a larger disturbance in The Force you can subconsciously hone in on.

It's the State I hate... I like America around 1776 (except the slavery)...* and I wish the American people could go back to that... truly a nation others can inspire to be... rather than the imperial pedo cesspool it is now sticking its nose in every other nation on the planet... not to get off topic...

Sounds like a good region to hunt gemstones in... and from what I know, a good region to raise a militia in as well. LOL.

* In spirit I am probably more "american" than most moder day americans

I obtained this the other day. It’s a Heliotrope /Bloodstone.

It’s a powerful stone of courage, strength, and vitality. Some other key properties: Warding off negativity, resilience, boost life force, strength through change… also called the Warrior Stone!

Solstickan (stick of the Sun) is a Swedish charity foundation founded in 1936 for aiding children in need… the most well known and purchased matchbox in Sweden.

The art work of the matchbox was made in 1936 by the artist Einar Nerman and is a painting of his own son. - source

Maybe not a gemstone, but this lava rock (volcanic scoria) is a powerful symbol of transformation and rebirth.

Grounding and a root chakra. Offers both courage and protection.

I picked these up in Iceland when I was there a few years ago. Picked them up from the ground to be exact, I didn’t buy them.
