There is a line of text in "The Astrologer and Oracle of Destiny, Vol. 1" (Link HERE) which reads:
The "elixir of life" in this case refers to the substance which permits people to live well past 100 years of age.
IMO this line comes from an extremely high level source.
So much so that ever since I first saw it, I assumed the following ever since:
> the elixir of life is the thing which is most precious to the rosicrucians (even more than the transmutation stone itself)
> the elixir of life is not the same substance which is used to transmute metals
> it requires a novel process to make it (hence why Paracelsus is so well regarded for discovering it)
At the time, obviously I really wanted to know how to make this, and to know how exactly is it different to the transmutation stone.
But since this is effectively such a deeply guarded secret, I figured that I would likely never know.
Anyway, against all odds I recently stumbled upon THIS text which has left me quite satisfied that I now know the secret, and I'm quite pleased to have the opportunity to share it with all you good people.
The substance in question is simply Gold sulfate (which of course has to have been heavily vivified with HIM).
Makes sense to me because:
> It would probably absorb quite easily via the acid in the stomache.
> It's a red crystal.
> It was certainly within reach during paracelsus' time.
> It was attributed to paracelsus (in the above text).
> It was a novel discovery, and something truly counter-intuitive
As a further support to this...
We also now know that 2 of the elite's from just after Paracelsus' time have been proven to have large amounts of gold in hair samples taken from their remains.
Diane de Poitiers and Tycho Brahe both died from unexpected un-natural mishaps (a horse riding accident and a burst bladder).
I personally believe that both of these 2 would have qualified for entry into the rosicrucians at that time.
This proves that these elites (IMO also fully indoctrinated rosicrucians) were actually consuming heavy doses of some form of gold containing medicine.
Eg: their precious medicine to extend life was gold in a form which is easy to absorb and not something like fermented piss.
So for me, it's now fully unlocked:
Gold oxide for the transmutation stone.
And Gold sulfate (dissolved in alcohol) for the 'long life' medicine.
[Obviously these both need to be imbibed with massive quantities of HIM in order to work as intended.]
And just to make it clear...
This is only an academic exercise.
I won't be ingesting gold salts and I don't think that you should either.
The renowned Paracelsus was also one of our fraternity, and it was to him that we are indebted for the elixir of life.

Upon seeing it, it now all makes perfect sense. In the Book of Dialogues he described the formation of the Blood of the Lion, by dissolving gold in aqua fortis (HNO3) with our salarmoniac or secret salarmoniac (ammonium sulfate, (NH4)2SO4, made from ammonia and sulfuric acid; Glauber said that Paracelsus and Helmont called this the Alkahest, although they kept its nature secret). The resulting yellow solution turns black as ink (the “Head of the Crow”), then into many colors (the “Peacock's Tail”), then blood red (the “Dragon's blood”). The dragon's blood is then treated with white urinus sublimate (NH4Cl) to transmute the dissolved gold and form another blood red liquor (the “Blood of the Lion”). In the Universal Medicine of Gold, the coagulated blood of the lion is converted with the help of his sal mirabile (Na2SO4) to a red stone [which could contain gold sulfate or mixed gold chlorides and sulfates], which is powdered and extracted with alkaline ethanol (spiritus vini alcalisati). The resulting tincture is a famous Aurum Potabile against many diseases, and it coagulates mercury to gold as promised to Sperling.
