My friends and I have always talked and contemplated with one another about the end of the world, as we know it. It could be because of government, a zombie apocalypse, or some kind of natural disaster.

In such an event, as an experienced alchemist, what kind of things do you think you would be called upon to do for your group? In other words, how can your knowledge of alchemy be of use in a social collapse?

But if it still would happen I guess the advantage of the alchemist is that s/he is skilled in the self... and the more skilled in the self the more chance a person has to survive what might be a very heavy paradigm shift. Also if most people die a liking of hermitude is a plus.

I doubt alchemy would be of much use... but I think lots of people would be begging for alchemists' supplies of toxic elements like antimony so to quickly end their suffering in a shtf scenario.

Antimony Suicide? sheeesh... it would have to be pretty bad scenario...

Alchemy it self, is always useful, it teaches about self assention (although probably not the best path in general for spiritual assention, but is a great stepping stone for beginners to learn the hermetic arts.), and I think during social collapse, that topic will actually be on the peoples mind a little more than usual. Of course "The Stone... blah blah blah"

Spagyrics most definitely has its place. Rosemary Elixirs and stones are great for knocking out the flu before it grabs hold of you, not to mention the myriad of other herbs, whom's elixirs are of great worth, more so when the public health system falls down.

And not to mention that an alchemical understanding, a righteous one that is, is the perfect perspective, I think, from which to grow a new world! One that is in tune with nature, animals, and the human soul. One that seeks the heighten and enrich, evolve even, all that is around them.

Alchemy will most definitely be practised in the next world. IMO.

One of the main draws of spiritual alchemy is that it trains one to deal with situations where the s*** hits the fan. Or maybe I've been reading the wrong authorities?

So far through my spagyric work Ive made a few medicine's that could cure the common cold & flu, arrest inflammation and with the next Volatized Salts of Tartar In about to work, a significant amount more, such as blood purification, curing of phosphorus poisoning and treat cancerous tumors.

Thats about all my 'Alchemy' skills could provide. Mind you, in the path of learning the sacred Art; one tends to become a jack of many trades, and I hve learnt many spiritual practises and nutritional information that could help with the long term survival and hopefully ascention of any post-apocalyptic communities.

The information we have as spagyricists and alchemists gives us an edge should a collapse happen (and it'll happen!). Just look at the way society is crumbling apart thanks to corporations and governments. They act in cohorts with one another feeding each other favors in exchange for bags of money. Blood money that is! Money that came most of the time at the expense of a poor citizen's bacon. Maybe it was a poor old man's last bit of gold in exchange for some tainted food, crappy meds, buying a shanty town dwelling at the price of everything the poor old geezer had. Or maybe a poor widow, single mother with a little baby, etc. The point is society is being exploited by these pigs. They enjoy the finest of foods, they have whores galore, best cars, health care, you name it while us the little people suffer at the hands of these heartless bastards! But make no mistake karma is a bitch and she has bite. The end is nearing and this screwed up society will crumble to dust. We have a responsibility to attend to the people who will be the survivors of this great cataclysm by supplying cures to the survivors and ourselves. Hopefully then, without anyone to judge an alchemist (because of the desperate need) we will truly be able to make a difference in this world. We can help humanity to ascend to higher levels together as a whole so that this evil mindset can be truly eradicated once and for all. It is however up to us to keep it pure and sincere as we are man and woman subject to the temptations of life as the illuminati once were too before they gave in to their temptations. But I have a feeling that this time things will be different (just a haunch)

Surely though, would it not be the truth that the finding and distributing of the Stone to all mankind would be the trigger for social collapse?

If we have perfect health then Big Pharma collapses along with the WHO, CDC, medical industry etc

We might retain some kind of new medical industry to help with severe injuries providing space while people heal naturally


If we have the Stone then we can all transmute base metals into gold and silver.

If this be true then the value of gold and silver (which underpin many things in society) will plummet. Banks will collapse. The financial and stock markets will collapse. We will once again trade among ourselves, product for product.


In short it is the Stone that brings about societal collapse, if it is released that is rather than jealously guarded by the select few.

Yet this is the only way for humanity to evolve to its next step/level.

Just as with our art, a thing must first die in order that out of it can come new fruit.

But this is a big and complex thing to contemplate

If you found the Stone tomorrow, would you give it freely to all mankind knowing that everything as we currently know it would collapse?

I think society is already in collaps.

It was been proven in from history, that every new descovery can be used for good and for bad.

It does not matter if you give out the philosopher stone to the masses, or a revolutinary new clean fission battery that can fit in the palm of your hand.

Ppl will fk it up.

What needs to change is our way of thinking, our mentality, the masses are still in the stone age.... bu i see they are very slooowly evolving(i travell a lot, in a lot of countries for the past 15 years, and i see changes in how people think and interract)

For me the social collapse is like the ballance of a sun.

What will be overcome first? Gravity? Or the thermonuclear explosions?

Its just a matter of time, what will be the one who will win?

Maybe the 1% know and direct all this... maybe not... from my current level i cant predict nothing, and i cant see thr bigger picture, its a waiting game for me.

To add some flavour to this recipe, where are the aliens and God in all this? Will they do something or just sit back and let us humans continue on this destructive path?
