Secret Chiefs 3 is a favourite band that is both esoteric/occult and original/weird, add to this the fact that they make orchestral, persian/arabic and fucking hardcore death metal music (or as they themselves call it: Surf-grindcore-psykadelia)!

Their lyrics is of interest though and can be discussed with an occult angle.

Not just your opinion, I guarantee you that the head of Secret Chiefs 3 is far more informed on the topic of alchemy and related topics than the large majority of authors who are paid to write books about them.
