Do you know any quick meditation techniques that I can develop over the days, months, years, decades?

Hi Blacksmith

How to meditate being hyperactive?

I can't think clearly alchemically, so I thought "what do I need?" a teacher (almost impossible nowadays in brazil) or a spiritual contact, all the techniques involved long periods of rest relaxing and for me it is impossible, I stop for 2 minutes and I almost have a panic attack and I start to run thinking walking poking the weeds and much more so how do I meditate being hyperactive?

Meditation quiets the mind. That's the whole point. Without meditation you won't stop being hyperactive.

:p

Perhaps better to go for a kind of meditation that involves body movement and some variety first. Such as Five Tibetans, Hatha-yoga, and Tai-chi...

Comes to mind, you mentioned martial arts in another thread. Are you practising any?

The only way is persisting, trying until you can I'm also too much anxious I've been meditating since years and still can't do it more than one hour. About a teacher, theres a tons of them in Brazil but to be honest you don't need a teacher, it's only you.

I tried tai chi, I liked it a lot, some movements left me confused but I think I get the hang of it, I will try the yang style and the chen style and see which one I think is better, thanks for the recommendation

Cool! I have been practising Yang style Tai-chi for awhile, and greatly enjoyed it. Not least, it had a major impact on my Kenpo Karate, which is my principal martial art.

Prior to that, I was doing Shotokan Karate and Aikido.

All of that helped and continues to help me be more centered and grounded in daily life. :)

What I am doing now you could call Aiki Taikyoku Kenpo Karate. :D

Qaul is a good online tai chi source, I found few moves not to mention that it's been hard to remember, the moving of the hands and legs, when I remember how to do it with the hands, the legs are wrong

One thing, in Tai chi it is mandatory to follow the already existing movements (Repel the monkey etc) or the principle of the movement is what counts because I see him making movements without name just circular movements

Erle does mention specific names referring to the classical forms in that series of online lessons, and in fact he and his son and successor Eli also present whole series dedicated just to the forms.

However, Erle also once mentioned that the forms constitute just 10% of what an internal martial art has to offer.

So I would say, in Tai-chi as well as in other martial arts, the forms are meant to teach the correct application of the principles, they are not something set in stone.
