Some of my Daily Practices
1. Each night, and often also during the day, I consistently practice Lucid Dream Yoga & Sleep Yoga.
2. I usually go to bed early, sometimes even at 7pm-8pm, and almost never too long after Sunset. I wake up every morning
before Sunrise (all naturally by now, no "alarm" clock) and walk barefoot outside in the garden, to bathe in the light of the Rising Sun and in the Earth's Field. Also doing various
"Letting Go" and
"Inner Dissolution" exercises during this exposure.
3. After I'm done with the morning practices and everyone else is still asleep, these are the hours when I'm doing much of my daily "Forum Yoga", mostly to sharpen my skills in communication and linguistic ingress, along with other skills. These are also the hours when I'm generally reading and answering emails and interacting on our "Social Media" page (NOT Facebook or Twitter or the likes of them).
4. After everyone else wakes up, we're all having our gourmet coffee together, usually on the sun terrace.
5. During the day I'm mostly engaged in creative and/or shamanic work. Writing poetry, songs, lyrics, prose, Magical Spells and also once in a while I have clients who require my shamanic assistance. And I no longer read as much as I used to. I
could definitely use some more gentle physical exercise (i.e. walking), but I'm still getting used to the steep road slopes around here, as opposed to Berlin, which is flatter than the Earth itself
6. Generally once or twice a month, preferably during the New Moon and/or the Full Moon, I operate an Alchemical Process and/or "Harvest" and subsequently follow the results daily, always refining my approach. Usually it's rendering and isolating some more "Earth" and gathering some more "Spirit", in different ways and with different methods, and setting them up to interact. There are also a few more "advanced" operations that I experiment with. I have a few of those going on at the moment and it's fascinating to watch Nature operate in such magical ways. I don't use hotplates or temperature controllers. But we have a compost pile in the garden that always keeps naturally cycling levels of heat/motion induction. I almost never use store-bought materials or chemicals. In this case, I do my best to follow the axiom
"everything you need is already in your back yard". And above all, I'm taking it
easy. Being
too obsessive has never really done me any good,
especially as I DO tend to get somewhat OCD at times
7. I practice what Castaneda refers to as
"Controlled Folly". In simple terms, this means ACTING or PRETENDING
as if things
"matter" and are all
"serious" and shit, but KNOWING that ultimately No-Thing
"matters".
8. I sunbathe a little every day during UV hours (20-40 minutes), when the weather is not too cold or too cloudy for this. Either in the garden or on our sun terrace or down at the beach. I never use sunscreen, but the morning/Red & IR solar exposure strengthens and prepares the skin (and eventually the eyes as well) for the later mid-day Full Spectrum/UV absorption. I also do my best to spend as much "time" as possible outside (i.e. not indoors), especially as we have an outdoors kitchen and sitting area, in addition to the garden and the front yard.
9. We only eat one meal a day, usually 1-2 hours before Sunset. We all eat together, and
only home prepared dinners. 90% (and more in the future) of our veggies and legumes are from our own garden.
10. Before going to bed, I do some Eye & Candle & Mirror exercises. Most of the day I'm in a semi dream-like state anyway. And I never set aside time to "meditate", because I
always "meditate".
