Hello. I posted start of my book on a place on discord called the Adimverse. I posted it in the lounge and within seconds I was kicked from the server, no warning, no information as to why. Spencermarell is the boss of the doscord and is a horrible fucking cunt. If anyone can spread the message or support me please let me know.

I'm posting the start here because I'm afraid of people using my work.

"How I killed the bear

The stage was set.
You're dead.
No breath.
Nothing said.
You did your best.
You were not fast enough to outpace that bear.

Chapter 1

There I was. A drunk corpse, still warm. My pockets filled with crisps and my clothes soaked in beer. I had no chance. Its an invitation for a free meal wearing a fluorescent jacket in the woods at night, I didn't think it would matter at the time. I guess it doesn't matter now either, I can't take it off.

All I am is what I can eat and for how long for. This the bear understood well before we met, and now my heart is his dinner I will prolong him till the next.

Seeing my carcass as a chew toy starts to fill me with venom. Wasn't it enough, my arms and my legs? You aren't satisfied? You have to tear off my head and eat from my neck.

It seems personal to me, he is playing with his food, banging my bones against rocks like he is playing the drums. Spreading my blood in the mud with his paws. Fingerpainting. My skeleton a puppet for his amusement. My soul a witness to a feast I can never forget.

It is personal.

Well you have my attention now my fat furry friend, my death a joke that this bear has to boast. Growl all you like while you rub my skull on your belly, flossing with my spine won't save your life.

Your manner in eating me has me pissed.
I won't be a quiet meal for you to digest.

I will kill this thing, this cunt, if its the last thing I do, which it is, because although I am dead, I am but somehow still living.

So further into the woods I walked. My eyes turning red the deeper I went.

As the forest closed around me there was a fork in the path. Two roads, up or down.
Seeing as I was a ghost or a shadow but not a clown, I went straight ahead. Through the hill, coming upon a cave illuminated by a fire in its centre.

A creature sat around the fire scribbling letters in the dirt with a stick while singing. Its words hauntingly indecipherable, its eyes shine in the flickering darkness of the cave. A tiger would be jealous.
I approached with caution but not fear. A bear had already devoured my body so I thought nothing could be worse. I like most was wrong. This creature was not an animal you could run from, and now it knew I was here. Its voice turns in my ears as I get closer, a pale white face with a cheeky wide grin. Does it know me? Do I know it?

Shit."

Oh, how I killed the bear

Chapter 1 - A forest

"You did you're best but you were not fast enough to outpace that bear"

There I was. A drunk corpse, still warm. My pockets filled with crisps and my clothes soaked in beer. Wearing a fluorescent jacket in the woods at night makes for an easy meal.

I had no chance.

I didn't think it would matter at the time. I guess it doesn't matter now either, I can't take it off.

All I am is what I can eat and for how long for.

This the bear understood well before we met, and now my heart is his dinner I will prolong him till the next.

Fingerpainting.

Death is a joke that this bear has to boast.

The manner in which you're eating me has me pissed. I won't be a quiet supper for you to digest.

I will kill this thing, this cunt, if its the last thing I do, which it is, because although I am dead, I am but somehow still living.

So further into the woods I walked. My eyes turning red the deeper I went.

The forest closes tightly around me, a fork in the path opens up. Two roads up or down. Seeing as I was a ghost or a shadow but not a clown, I went straight ahead. Through the hill, coming upon a cave illuminated by a fire in its centre.

A creature sat around the fire scribbling letters in the earth with a stick while singing. Its words hauntingly indecipherable, its eyes shine in the flickering darkness of the cave. A tiger would be jealous.

I approached with caution thinking nothing could be worse from where I've been.

I like most am wrong. Sound turns in my ears as I get closer, a pale white face with a cheeky wide grin.

Does it know me? Do I know it?

Shit.

"I couldn't help but notice you're not quite dead" this pale thing said, its tone soft and melodic.

My face frooze even though it wasn't really there. The hairs on my arms did not stand up straight because I no longer had any arms, but it felt like they did.

I spoke quickly, frightened in here. "Are you God or something else?"

"Something else" it sort of sang back, spelling out my name in the dirt with its stick. My full name in a cursive script.

This is not what I planned.
That dead bear is what I came for.

How this creature knows me? Its voice soothes me, smelling like flowers in the air.

Taking my hand it whispers softly "Follow the death" and nods in the direction of the forest.

As soon as I turn my cheek I am there. Surrounded by tall trees, the moon* light burning into the grass. All sorts of animals crawling by on they're way to their beds.

A white rabbit lays before me. There is no blood, its neck is broken but its feet still twitch. Half dead, a predicament I'm familiar with.

Finish it off? Is that what it meant?

Bending down I gave it one last twist. Severing the soul from its flesh. At least it was quick my funny white friend. I am still being eaten, my organs a treatment for that fucking bear.

The snap rang out through the woods, the rabbit now a lifeless companion for the mud. The echo is followed by howls of crying and shouting. Very disturbing. I couldn't help from looking, finding a deer bloody and winning, someones unwilling dinner who wouldn't go quietly with they're plans.

The wolf circles its prey as I look on. Its black coat turning into a shadow. A strong spirit this deer has, so much so the wolf fears it, I can smell it? which is odd.

Out of the nothing a tune starts humming, the rocks vibrating beneath the hooves of the deer. The wolf startled makes a dash for an exit, and is met with a furious will to life. Crushing his skull the music gets louder, the deer roars as wolf inside.

Now I am horrified more than I was, it's eyes are fire. This deer isn't done yet.

Another cry in the distance of howling and screaming, it looks at me for a race to the next.

I immediately followed the deer.

Chapter 2 - The Bird

"I'm super hungry but I don't want to waste the food"

Flying fast through the undergrowth it leads me to a bird perched on a rock, still singing. Its tweeting a note or two off, its screaming. It doesn't know that its spirit already left.

Its a very cute bird, innocent. Not knowing its not living and still persisting, still slightly being, if you could call it that.

When water is moving its living, when it stops it stagnates.

Too much of one thing inside of another is a universal dilemma. Am I now the reduction? Too much life in these feathers?

"Crush it" the hollow sound of the deer said, it has human eyes now, fiery red.

Without hesitation. That's exactly what I did. My saffron fists.
Again this tone rises filling the stones, summoned up from the depths, took over the ground and everything on it.

Punch it in its face. Pure raw force. Shove your arm down its throat and gouge its eyes then stomp on it. You're now the hunter, and you're going to be starting a fire for some bear grub in a few minutes.

It's a black bear we're talking about right?
