@Willis, you haven't responded in our PM conversation!
All I know from your website is you have designed a grow light with laser diodes.
You say it consumes, if I remember correctly, 9 times less power than leds would.
Laser diodes consume much more power than LEDs!!!
And you didn't answer any of my questions:
1. Strong peaks are efficient, but not without ANY broadband lighting.
Having some frequencies left and right from the peaks is highly efficient!
2. While being efficient in g per watt(with a bit broadband), they're far from giving high yields, so room is not used efficient, even when being efficient in g per watt.
3. With just 465, 480 and 670nm, all narrow peaks, you're missing out several important biological triggers.
Most important the photochrome system:
You need red(660nm) and far red(700-730+), cause from their amount and from length of day plants know when to flower and when to veg!
Worse, theyre giving two different complimentary biological signals, one "grow high and thin", one "grow bushy"!
When only using 670nm plants will only get very high and thin!
Without getting bushy. So it's not even good for plants which shall not flower!
But that's just the general rules under somehow halfway normal lighting.
Ive seen plants do weird things with extreme spectrum used.
Things they shouldn't have done!
Getting small but damned bushy and fat stemmed with nearly only 660nm red and just a bit of 440nm blue and broadband.
Getting same bushy and fat stemmed but not that small with nearly only 440nm blue and only a bit of 660nm red and broadband.
So I wont say it's all nonsense what you do.
But only thing I could imagine is you could make small plants very bushy and fat.
Maybe use it for micro greens.
Only thing making sense is you're on something common science has not discovered or ignored cause it doesn't fit in!(?)
You tell of aligned and coherent light being more efficient, triggering better and stuff.
But it's just fragments and tagwords in the end!
I know of research where lasers were used to enhance photosynthesis.
But that was pre-LED times.
No idea if still valuable.
And even there it was added to daylight. And two different laser frequencies at once were always better than the 2 added together.
But that at least your device has.
Could you tell us some more?
What's the mechanisms of laser light outperforming LEDs?
How comes the life information you're talking about in your light??? How is it different?
You're patent is from 2017 and clearly talking about LED diodes!!
Where's that laser diodes you're talking about?
I'm smelling a scam!
If you can't explain this and answer some question I assume it's all scam!
You're talking about 93 times of light per energy!
Explain yourself please!
