I was watching Elysium last night, and was struck with how the movie portrays the exotic healing technology is only available to the elites and denied to the poor.

I had a chuckle to myself because in my world it's the opposite.
Eg: the elites are all dying in droves from preventable diseases like cancer, while I have knowledge and access to all the advanced stuff even while living below the poverty line (that's according to raw income, not assets and lifestyle).

I love the idea of making a ghetto version of a MED BED, and I guess it's now on my todo list.
I already have a bedside light with a large bulb with multiple red and IR LED's in it.
Every morning, after I wake up and before I get up (you know that period of time when you usually just lie there in your thoughts), I shine that light on the top of my bald head for 30 minutes. At the same time I put a cannula in my nose and breathe hydrogen from an electrolysis machine sitting beside my bed.
In that respect, I already have a kind of a ghetto med bed, but IMO it could still be better.
I'd love to run a setup that breathes a mixture of prana gas and hydrogen at the exact time along with pemf coils surrounding my body, then it'd be a truly AWESOME use of that same 30 minutes per day.

And irony, I reckon anyone could create the same setup that I'm talking about here.
It's crazy that we can conceivably create for ourselves right now, the exact thing that is science fiction in the minds of the muggles.

Also thought I should add (in case it's not obvious) that this ghetto med bed tech still needs you do the harder stuff such as to eat healthy and keep yourself free of constant stress.
Eg: if you're smoking 30 cigarettes per day, perhaps you might consider giving them up as part of your overall health plan, rather than get a med bed do everything for you.

Also the med bed in Elysium does both diagnostics and tissue repair, and does the repairs in an instant.
Whereas the ghetto version gets your immune system to do both diagnostics and repair by supercharging it.
Unfortunately though, the repairs will take a bit longer than in the fictional version.

I seriously doubt this is true. The real "elites" are likely many 100s of years old, from very old dynasties that have been ruling humans since Egyptian times and beyond. They had their Shewbread back then and doubtless have even better versions today.

Yeah, you're basically right.
At least the guy in this video says so.
He reckons he's was in a super high level elite person's house in Europe and actually saw a med bed.
He described it as using both light and frequency, in other words, the same as the ghetto version.
He also said that it needs to be used ongoing, not a one time use....same as the ghetto version.
And he even said that the ones the elites use requires them to eat healthy and put in physical work....same as the ghetto version

The real "elites" are likely many 100s of years old, from very old dynasties that have been ruling humans since Egyptian times and beyond. They had their Shewbread back then and doubtless have even better versions today.

I very much doubt the so-called "elites" are using alchemical elixirs, even IF they know how to prepare them. The reason is simple. They want to cling on to power over others, craving increasingly more power, and genuine alchemical elixirs dissolve such power cravings over time. So instead, "they" are mostly relying on witchcraft, technology and Loosh harvesting.

I've wanted to convert a tanning bed into something like this for a long time. Just never got around to it.
A really basic starting point would be Earth grounding combined with red/infrared light.
Leds have become very affordable, but some people complain about pulsing and unwanted em radiations.
Those incandescent heat bulbs for chickens have very low stray fields, and a nice wideband mix of red + infrared.
I've laid under the heat bulbs and it feels really good.
Blue light is supposed to be good for infections and burn victims, but bad for the eyes.
Lakhovsky Multi-wave Oscillator could have some potential also.
