It ain’t flat.
As long as you haven't been on a spaceship, it is what you believe/expect it to be.

And probably even if you do go on a space flight, you're likely going to share the same hallucination with everyone else on board :)

Also, reality is a (shared) dream and it will reflect our beliefs and expectations back at us.

Prevailing narratives change periodically, and the dream-scapes of perception (= reality) change with them.

Or it could be they suffer from this.
Some people also "suffer" from THIS, only it's not really a suffering. It's how the dream mechanics generally operate.

Also, everybody's a fucking expert nowadays.

Don’t know if you watched the video but it’s not confirmation bias on my part. All it does is it takes the time to explain all the errors with the Flat model (of which there is no coherent one). I simply can’t be bothered to do it, so if anything it is lazy on my part. I have been known to change my views on things if the evidence is too strong, but sniffing out bullshit is always easy.

True we don’t know until we are in space, true that the Earth might not even be real... but in the game we are in, in the model of this realm, I feel pretty certain - in this case - that science is right. I would love to hear an answer to most of the points the dude in the video mentions. Begin with day and night and how light can stop at different places?

It doesn’t matter to me if globe or flat. When I first heard about it I looked into it, but all I saw was dumb arguments so I was never convinced. The flat earth model re-emerged (or at least is most strong) in the same region of the world where fucking your sister and gay bashing is still the cool thing to do.

I might be a contrarian, but I won’t reject something if the arguments are so weak that anyone with some math skills and general understanding of ecology, astronomy etc could easily debunk. Then there is the illogical concept of keeping this a secret and the weak motives that are put forward.

Earth won’t become flat if everyone belives it, unless everyone at the same time stops believing in the laws of physics because if the world suddenly turns flat we would all die pretty fast.

I could buy a Hollow Earth. There is at least some possible logic for that. Even Minecraft has rules. Just because something is not real doesn’t mean it isn’t and that it doesn’t follow certain laws.

Watch the video. I’d love to hear the video debunked.

No one is an expert unless they dedicate their lives to a certain thing. I feel I am an expert in sniffing out bullshit... so far I’ve never been wrong.

I have reasonable maths skills, was skeptical to the flat earth view, and all in all, wasnt easily convinced, however, as i looked more and more into it, i foundmore and more compeling evidence that suggests to me that the earth is indeed flat. And i have more evidence now that suggests the earth is flat then the arguments that suggest otherwise. andin fact when i hear the arguments of why the earth is round, i find then to be equally, if not more, balony then the flat earther's spil. As far as agenda is conerned, once you knowhow deep into nasa the freemasons are its not hard to connect the dots.

There quite literally are no real photos of earth from NASA.... none.... 50 million dollars a fuckin day budget... and not one fucking camera up in space taking photos of earth. Even the shots we get of the supposed space station are literally self-confessed CGI. dont you find that somewhat suspicious??

And in fact flat-earth argument + the nasa conspiracy... it starts to get so heavily weighted to the flat earth that the notion of the earth being a spinning ball has almost but faded from my consciousness completely.

I would love to sit up and argue this point, i really would, unfortunately time is of the essence... however... regardless of whether it really is spherical or flat... just ask yourself... what kind of planet wouldyou prefer to be living on?

Dont forget Neil armstrong punching that guy in the face.... never forget that....

If I knew personally people who died going into space + if I had been to the moon myself and some fat retard came up to me with a video camera calling me a liar I would punch him in the face too. So that does not prove anything.

As for what I prefer, doesn't really matter too me, but I think the globe version is way cooler and more beautiful if I had to make a pick. But please, the video is pretty good going over each piece of "evidence" that flat earth people pander and I would love to hear how you debunk the debunking of those. I can change my mind, but if the only piece of evidence is "NASA is a liar" then I won't listen. NASA is not the only player and please inform me how hundred of thousands of people are kept in the loop of this conspiracy without a single slip up or whistle blower of note? It is impossible.

Clinton couldn't even keep a damn blow job a secret.

There are groups of people trying to conspire for power, I don't doubt that... and it is pretty clear bankers, politicians and certain corporations are driven by greed/power and cannot be trusted... and that there are groups like the CIA who try to stir up trouble in order to work in the favour of said politicians/bankers/corporations... BUT any more than that is bullshit in my opinion. The chaos is bigger than we would like to admit. Freemasons are nothing.

It doesn't matter if NASA provides a photo from space, because you would just say its "fake". That is not evidence.

As I said before it doesn't matter really to me if it is flat or not, I just find it funny that there are those alive today who insult the legacy of Galileo and Bruno. When I hear a flat earth person say, for instance, "if the world is spinning why don't we fly off it" then I cannot take that individuals mental state seriously. The evidence provided for the non-existence of gravity is totally stupid and don't hold water.

Even Minecraft has gravity. You can use "creative mode" and not have gravity, but that is not "game mode"... and we are currently in game mode.

Just because something goes against the grain doesn't make it right. Flat Earth is a fad, but it will stick around like Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster. People are attracted to belonging. People need to belong to something. People need to share a belief.

That is why anarchism scares people so much. Because you only got yourself in anarchy.

---------------------------------------------

Me: My house is yellow.
You: Prove it.
Me: I live there, I know.
You: You lie.
Me: My wife, kids and friends can verify.
You: It's a conspiracy.
Me: Why?
You: To keep me in the dark of the truth, that your house is a concentration camp.
Me: Here are pictures and video.
You: Those are CGI.
Me: Here are receipts of the yellow paint.
You: Those can be faked.
Me: Come visit me then and see for yourself.
You: I can't afford to.

Etc.

I think this is called epistemic contextualism, and it cannot be argued with as seen in the example above.

Studying Flat Earth theory has made me back the spherical model, whereas before I was open to either path. In fact I looked at Flat Earth theory before it was even a thing, when it became a fad I dived into it more. That is why I know there is no confirmation bias on my part. But there comes a time when you have to come to your senses and I just cannot buy this theory/model. It is not consistent, it has too many holes and it doesn't make any logical sense. Again if I had to put my money on something here are the odds:

Sphere 1.05
Flat 78.58
Hollow 2.15
Dream 1.01 (but a dream can still hold a defined structure)

I can't swear China exists, because I have never been there. I tend to have this philosophy, but I cannot deny that China is probably there (just as they say). I'd be more surprised if China did not exist. Same goes with the Flat Earth. I cannot know until I have seen it with my own eyes, but the chance that it is flat is pretty fucking slim. And again you can also claim that your own eyes are liars. So with that kind of logic and argument model there is no point in discussing anything. Sometimes to play the game you got to follow the rules.

There's one basic observational aspect of flat Earth theory that really doesn't make sense to me. Why do all the planets I look at through a telescope appear perfectly circular? Here are some explanations...

"Earth is flat...but other planets are spherical."
"It's an optical illusion facilitated by the firmament."
"All planets are flat, and have their faces pointed directly to Earth."

These explanations seem illogical and unnatural to me. But I've been wrong plenty of times.

I do admit there are a lot of unintelligible idiots backing flat earth that do give it a bad name. Perhaps during the uni holidays I will visit this in depth with you and try to debunk your debunk video

Neither flat or round.

The earth is shapeless colourless before your taught what shape and colour are.
Same with every planet. The universe is only observed through a human lens.
Likely the rest of the universe has a very different picture of it.

Maybe its a collapsing energy field, a dense pocket of radiation, a liquid suspended in a vacuum, a series of sounds.
Depending on your senses alien or otherwise they will create a picture for you. After you've learnt to use them...

The preface was pretty funny:

This work is radically and rightfully opposed to astronomical conclusions of all ages. It depicts the illusions developing from all telescopic observations and photographs of the universe about us. It clearly explains and vividly illustrates why those lens-developed illusions have been mistakenly accepted as facts. The book is therefore unparalleled in the long history of man’s attempted interpretation and recording of the universe about us. It projects man’s first understanding of the factual and endless Universe which contains human life throughout its vast length and width – regardless of all abstract theory to the contrary.

F.A.G.

Joking aside it seems as soon as one rabbit hole is plugged another pops up.

I've been made aware of the existence of a rare book called Flying The Planet.

It seems completely impossible to find it online.

I don't know the name of the author(s).

It's a long shot, but does anyone here happen to have a copy?

Or at least a lead for how/where I can get it?

There’s a deteriorating physical copy in the library of Congress, but you can access a digital copy inside the Australian National Library so other libraries might also have digital copy access.

There’s a synopsis of its alternative title “voyage to the moon” HERE.

Thanks, but that's not the one I'm looking for. I'm specifically looking for the title Flying The Planet. It's a more "contemporary" text, relatively speaking.

According to some people I asked, it was possibly "scrubbed" by some "intelligence" agencies and is therefore close to impossible to find anywhere.

Is it the 2005 publication by Joseph Gregory Hallett?

Very likely, now that you mention it. Any leads?

I know Hallett quoted it in another book of his, with the mention "classified".

Does that model allow for the Black Sun to be out side of our universe of Duality ?

imagine if its actually flat

Highly unlikely as I saw the curvature of the horizon myself on a flight from Guam to Japan.

Also, we don't see any planets that are flat as a pancake out there in space.

That being said, I admit that the theory offers an intriguing new perspective on the extinction of the dinosaurs:
