I was originally going to name this thread “The Fool”

But didn’t want to confuse anyone with our good and kindly Sir @theFool, so named it differently.

Anyways, went to the beach today. It was fun.

The Fool is a card of new beginnings, opportunity and potential. Just like the young man, you are at the outset of your journey, standing at the cliff‘s edge, and about to take your first step into the unknown. Even though you don’t know exactly where you are going, you are being called to commit yourself and follow your heart, no matter how crazy this leap of faith might seem to you. Now is a time when you need to trust where the Universe is taking you.

As you undertake this new journey, The Fool encourages you to have an open, curious mind and a sense of excitement. Throw caution to the wind and be ready to embrace the unknown, leaving behind any fear, worry or anxiety about what may or may not happen. This is about new experiences, personal growth, development, and adventure.

The time is NOW! Take that leap of faith, even if you do not feel 100% ready or equipped for what is coming (who knows what it could be?!). Seriously, what are you waiting for? Do you think you need to have everything mapped out before you can begin? No way! Not with The Fool. He ventures out on his journey with just his essential belongings – and now he invites you to do the same. You don’t need to wait for someone to give you the green light or hold off until you have all the skills, tools and resources you think you might need. You are ready!

Great post. Reminds me of my Hymn to Pan thread or my love for the Joker... it's all the same archetype sort of...

The Fool and Death are the best cards in Tarot... but for the uninitiated they seem to be the worst.

Btw I always imagined your state to be a flat steppe land without lakes. Is it a natural lake? When I lived in Oklahoma they had lakes, but they were all man-made.

If Pan is the child of Hermes and I am the child of Pan, then Hermes is my grandpa.

One of the few gods without temples. I shall make a natural altar dedicated to Pan outside my house.

Pan was the true Jesus. Pan did not die. Death is a joke to Pan, as it should be.

I liked this post from there especially.

…………

Our larger lakes are all man-made. Hydroelectric dams and city water reservoirs. The lake in the above photo is one created by a hydroelectric damn.

Here is an example of our natural lakes though:

This one is created by snow melt from the winter, and sits at about 7,150 feet above sea level (2,180 ish meters).

However, in our state, the eastern half is very flat and boring. The western half is mountainous. We are technically a Rocky Mountain state

Great to put a face to a name Kiorionis. Lovely place. I believe I'm enjoying the juvenile hope of the fool right now. It's a relief to start a new chapter. Just as refreshing as a dip in the lake.

This tarot card really speaks volumes to me and the precipice I seemingly have been walking for some time. I have been at a certain cross road for some time. To stay where I am or take a leap of faith. It seems to me that my heart is slowly, incrementally making its own decision much to the dismay of the worrying mind. Also we all have connections in life which may be strained or even severed when we decide to make that leap. I do think that there have been many signs associated with this pending choice I will likely make. The fears and uncertainties, not wanting to hurt others etc have seemingly kept me glued but my heart sings "you'll never fly if you don't jump!" And perhaps the jump does not arrive us anywhere we could predict but the faith required to do so.. well it takes courage. How do we know if we are changing directions for the right reasons?? Torn between heart and mind and heart seems to be winning. I know there's many of you here who have had your own "Fool" and/or tower moment and I hope that your lives are going well enough regardless of your changes in circumstances. Anyways I can relate to the message of this card. Scary and exciting stuff from my perspective.

Hey Kibric,

Thanks for the compliment! Not the reply I was expecting (though who really knows what we get on here) but it made me smile so thank you for that!

I suppose working on becoming more heart coherent, or allowing the mind to be entrained by the heart would be a good way to get the needed clarity in difficult life decision making. Taking the mind out of the driver seat may make them not so difficult. I have a person in my life that whenever we are in close proximity we entrain eachother and it can't seem to be helped. I have been resistant to this heart connection because life circumstances deem it wrong. I'm not sure our hearts agree.

Oh life!
