If all it does is slowly deage and heal you of certain diseases, while useful medically is it worth the investment in time?
What if we forget about the worry of time running out, which allows us to give more freely to the work, ourselves, others, in effect becoming a better version of ourselves. This way we actually gain time and are contented in who we are because we gradually learn to stop taking short cuts at every opportunity and grow into what we are in potential.
Forgot about time, it makes a big difference although it exists, running from it doesn't help.
Better to make good use of it. And this is not static, everyone is in a different experience.
What can you make of it?
Was talking to my wife about this the other night and the thought occurred to me..
"I don't want to go through life like a turkey with my head chopped off; running around frantically and always rushed."
"I don't want to waste the time I have at present."
The solution I arrived at is to try to make choices you can feel good about, rest when you need it, be sincere and don't waste your or other peoples time. You don't have to rush and scramble to accomplish things.
For example;
I work in construction/renovations.. I have found that if I slow down, and make haste slowly (thinking about what I am doing)
I actually save time over the day, do better work and am less tired.
Its little things.. Always pick up my pencil, my knife, my measuring tape and put them back on my holster instead of dropping on the ground and scrambling onto the next thing.
At the end of a day, clean up the job site, even if it takes an hour. It will save more than that the next day in lost time due to bad feng shui and struggling to find things, your energy becomes sloppy and so does your work as your frustration builds.
"
Feng shui is an ancient Chinese art of arranging buildings, objects, and space in an environment to achieve harmony and balance. Feng shui means “
the way of wind and water.” It has roots in early Taoism but is still popular today, having spread throughout China and even to Western cultures."
Instead of slacking off on a phone; work at a sustainable pace and don't stop, you get to go home earlier and do something actually productive with that time.
Etc etc, you get the point.
