I bought my first piece of Bitcoin. It felt good.

@Andro why is the life-force important? What can be bought with life-force? I fear my life force bank account is running low.. 🤣

@black @Pilgrim
In pursuit of gaining a little maturity I am going to choose not to troll the both of you even though you deserve it.

All I'm saying, is that Bitcoin is the best performing asset in the history of histories. And while no one has a crystal ball, there are many indications that would suggest that for a 12 to 24 month hold, crypto assets are likely (and I mean, over 50% likelyhood) to do incredibly well.

That's all I'm saying. It's pretty rare that you're going to hear me argue over morals and dogma anymore because I'm not a judgmental hypocrite and I've never met a single person in my entire life other than perhaps little children that could honestly say they are "good".

We all suffer from vices. The wisest and most controlled people I know suffer from vices. And I feel that conversations that are like " 'x' is no good because it's a conspiracy" just isn't relevant anymore. It was relevant when it was a conspiracy. Now everyone knows the truth more or less. And it's more about finding innovative ways to try to scrap together a bit of freedom here or there where we can until we find ways to evoke ourselves out of this mess.

And I have pretty much ditched a morality system based on what society seems ethical. Society is not, imo, ethical at all and it's motivations are deceptions and the entire western culture is built on a bed of sand.

My philosophy is the Wiccan-Updated Alister Crowley mandate:

"Do as thou will and harm no one".

I don't care if Bitcoin is a conspiracy or not. Toothpaste is a fucking conspiracy but if you don't use it you'll lose your teeth.

I understand if you're frustrated with the crazy murderous vampiric people that you voted into office, but please don't let that stop the love and caring that comes from shoving crypto down people's throats during possibly one of the most important trend reversals this decade.

The overtone I'm trying to share with you here, is that it's going to get harder and harder for the average person to make money. I'm sharing my opinion on this because I don't see any reason why I wouldn't want the users of the forum to make money. I hope they all turn rich and have more time and resources to practise alchemy.

Its irrelevant to me whether anyone gives weight to my insight or not. I do it because some of you are old, and some of you are stupid, and if you're old or stupid then you're going to miss out. And the nature of our planet is that it's going to become ever more competitive and fierce. Gone are the days where you can get by just by doing the 9 -5. The cost of living is going up. And it's going to go up by a back-breaking amount by 2030.

@black dear friend. Can you refresh my memory about your mentor because I think I've lost the narrative.

Is your mentor like... Jesus? Or like... God? I think I remember you saying that your mentor is God but I kind of forget. What's he look like?

Ive accepted that I'll probably die soon and that there isn't time anymore to succeed in making the philosophers stone.

I tried to evolve and become something more than I am. But I made mistakes. And those mistakes compounded and ultimately got the better of me and I think I'm just copeing or clutching at straws to really think about it anymore.

Preach on... it has been fun to watch you evolve... I feel pretty much the same as you do (with a few minor differences). We should do another podcast about crypto, prepping, freedom and in general trash governments and sheep. Would be fun.

I started this thread in 2016... I think it has aged like fine wine.

I'm happy you mentioned Crowley, because his Pan poem has been rocking my world for a year or so now. Pan is a BTC holdr for sure. Pan is chaos. BTC is an agent of chaos and anarchism is order out of chaos.

Yeah I'm keen to do another cast, maybe after I've moved house. I'll let you know when I'm settled, cheers. I have noticed similarities in our way of thinking over the years. I hope there ends up being another Alchemy Forums reunion.

Sounds good.

It’s funny that people won’t buy 50 bucks worth of BTC. A sum anyone can afford and forget about. And if they are right that BTC is a scam, they lose 50 bucks. So what.

If we are right they’ll have anything between 500 and 50 000 bucks. Maybe even 500 000 bucks.

In that situation I’ll have probably 5 million USD at least. I’ll be rubbing it in everyones face. šŸ˜‚ We can have AF reunion in Monaco at my expense.

If I am wrong, I won’t lose money I need. That is the beauty of BTC at the moment…

If anyone decides to buy:

1. Do not keep it at an exchange, store it in your own wallet or even better cold storage.
2. If value goes down buy more, do not sell.
3. Buy with money you don’t need.

Where I am power is pretty cheap, 0,11 cents per kWh.

ATM, it’s 12.28 cents per kWh where I live.

Bitcoin is vapourware. A number in a computer system. It is not a tangible thing, not a tangible asset. It's a concept that only has value whilst enough people attribute value to it and which vanishes into nothing the minute people cease to believe it has value. Comparing this with gold is honestly ridiculous. Gold is tangible. You can physically hold it. It's value has largely stayed stable for 100s of years. It can't vanish. It's inherent value may go up or down but historically it has always been a stable asset.

I agree with you. As soon as any digital/electronic system fails, so will bitcoin.

However, the internet has needed an energetic ā€œunitā€ for exchanges of labor for quite some time.

in my day to day, I work in the labor industry. In this work labor is equivalent to a certain hourly wage.

Bitcoin in my mind corresponds to digital labor. The USD (or other paper currency) corresponds to physical labor.

Depends on which world you live in, I think.

Besides, the future of money is digital.

And this is already happening. When was the last time you used cash? do you now only use a debit card like everyone I know here in America?

ATM, it’s 12.28 cents per kWh where I live.

You quote an old post of mine. Currently it costs 44 cents USD per kwh. Why such an increase you might ask?

Ukraine, that is why.

Why does that make it more expensive you ask?

Good question. Official answer: because

Apparently energy, food and other resources all come from Ukraine. I never knew my country was totally dependent on Ukraine. No one even knew that Ukraine existed a couple of years ago... talk about our surprise finding out our whole infrastructure was based on Ukraine.

I installed solar panels a few months before this price increase… yes I’m ahead of the curve like a boss. šŸ˜‚

As soon as any digital/electronic system fails, so will bitcoin.

BTC won’t fail if the others fail. Most BTC hodlers wants everything to fail.

When was the last time you used cash?

It is almost impossible to use cash where I live, and I haven't used it for over a decade at least.

An interesting perspective:

Fiat is haram, BTC is halal!

Guess which system the world is following?
