For quite some time now (about a year) a few of us here in the forum have worked on a book.

This book is now complete!

From the back of the book:

The age of computer technology provides many kinds of forums for individuals to come together, to express themselves, and to develop and expand their minds through interaction. Esoteric philosophers, mystics, shamans and alchemists find much more in these communities than simple pleasures: the involution of their spirit and the evolution of their soul within a virtual vessel.

It is hard to point out the true origin of these essays. The most that can be said is that members of Alchemy Forums wrote them. Each of these free people follow their own paths and belong to their own local communities, but have fortunately come together to share their experiences and understanding of reality in a common place.

You, dear dreamer, will have to imagine them individually according to their essays, the collection of which is the result of many years of conversation, personal research, trial and error, and the fellowship found behind a computer screen.

Herein are the varied, personal interpretations of experience from alchemists working with any matter they set within their minds.

The book has 126 pages and 8 original illustrations. It is printed in a limited edition of 99 copies.

If you want a copy you have to PM any of the above authors and buy it from them. There is no fixed price... each author can sell it for whatever amount they feel.

I checked today if actually is in the Royal Library of Stockholm (where they keep books for posterity). I noticed it was filed under books not allowed to leave library. It can only be read on site. Word. :)

It's also in a few other libraries.

Just talked to the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica AKA The Ritman Library in Amsterdam. They are very happy to include this book in their collection. They are even going to mention it in their social media when they get the physical copy (mailed it today).

They also said that they would like your book Salazius even if it is in French. So send them an email and ask where to ship it (as they are currently moving).

A short Review

I've just received my copy of Alchemy Forums Anthology.

It's certainly constructed well.

Some epic little drawings.

Informative, certainly, to anyone who is new to alchemy.

Still a bit of "I'll share a secret with you... sort of.." which I suppose has been well breed into Alchemists the world over.

It has certainly peaked up my interest to look into shamanism again, which was one of my very early paths which I did not revisit.

The medicinal gold section is excellent, although, could have given our beginners some more S.V. clues.


Lovely Job boys, I am priviledged to own the 10th copy of this book. Who want's to sign it? :cool:

Thanks from me, and thanks from my wife too (the one who made the illustrations). I am sure we will do a new book at some point in time... all depends if anyone wants to contribute to it.

#10 is a nice number... should fetch a good prize on the black market. LOL.

Did you lads pick your own topics? Are ALL of these illustrations by your wife? That's great, my wife is also a bit of an abstract artist, I must remember to show them to her.

I would love to write an alchemical epistle that could contribute to a greater work. Im sure these things are by invitation only of course.

Salazius' explanation of inner alchemy is of particular interest, (still haven't quite finished the last chapters) It speaks of the cooling feelings of the inner Luna energies. I have often times through fasting or even regular detox couples with exercise (particularly Chi Kung) experienced these inner 'cooling' energies. I have often thought that perhaps if I extended its duration, and the 'cooling zones' for lack of a better word; grew in volume (because they do), that it would cause some kind of physiological effect on the body..

If i've interpreted right, Salazius suggest that it indeed does. Thats great news, and gives me a lot of hope and reason to begin a great purge like i've been preparing for.

Yes, considering its very limited printing, I feel quite prizelaged to own this Book, sincerest thanks to Kiorionis for his generous gesture. I've already had one friend looking at the book, and when I told him of how many there were, his head nodded many times in approval of how special this book is.

It was an open invitation and everyone wrote whatever they wanted. From start to finish it took five years, but 90 % of the book was done in the last year. The first four was just the idea floating around.

Thanks for those remarks on the limited edition aspect. It gives weight to what I argued when we made it. To not have pdf and to just have a limited amount is excellent marketing strategy. LOL. :) I've sold a couple on Amazon to people I don't know. So the copies are going to be finished at some point. Also placed a few in libraries and given some to friends. All the authors can do what they want with their copies. I know zoas23 have the most. ;)

All illustrations are by my wife except as noted in the book like picture of Paracelsus and a few more. The cover is a mix of all illustrations.

If you got the book from Mr K. then it travelled from Europe to the USA and then Down Under. What a journey.

Zoas23 does not have a dedicated chapter, I'm guessing there was some editing, or just recognition for his pre-published contributions?

Or is his the secret chapter that gets sent separately in an iron locked cover? ;)

If alchemy has a huge revival, and becomes really popular, this book could be worth a fortune one day.

In fact, I think regardless, there will always be alchemists, and this book will most certainly maintain its value, if not increase. Yes, good strategy :cool:

We did, but I like to think the essays compliment one another quite nicely. There is a nice subtle theme of "subconscious/lunar/psyche/mercury" throughout.

Yeah, I arrived "late" for the book (I think I arrived 2 weeks before the deadline)... and thus I used a previously written essay, which is the result of what happened when a friend who is a painter created a multimedia work and asked me: "Would you write a review about my work?"...

And I signed with my real name because "zoas23" means nothing to me, it's quite random and I have some fetishism for books, so I didn't want to sign with a name that is simply an internet nickname.

What I like about the book is that it is coherent, which is not easy when you have lots of authors who come from very different backgrounds and several of them don't know each other face to face. So I am very glad with the result.
